F.I.R.E Movement : retire at 40? with Victor Lora and Arnaud Romanet-Perroux
Retiring at 40, that’s their goal. Members of the F.I.R.E. movement (Financial Independence, Retire Early) advocate frugalism as a way of life, as opposed to the archetype of success and over-performance of the 1990s. But how can you retire so early?
To explore this topic, the Partech Shaker will welcome Victor Lora, Project Manager for Bankin’, and ambassador of the frugalist movement in France. He will explore with you the principles of this movement which aims to guarantee financial independence thanks to a precise management of one's assets and an alternative way of consumption.
How can you join the F.I.R.E. movement? Can it be adopted by everyone, and is it part of a more global effort towards degrowth?
And above all, how can we reconcile the logic of a serial entrepreneur with a frugal lifestyle? How can the best investments be made with this mindset?
These are the questions that Victor, accompanied by Arnaud Romanet-Perroux, professor at ESCP and ESTP and founder of Upstone, a crowdfunding real estate platform, will address. The debate will be moderated by Sarah Huet, Managing Director of Partech Shaker.
If you want to retire at 40, become a frugalist, or you are just simply curious about this movement that is gaining traction in France, join us for a lively debate!
Please arrive by 9:20 am, as the event will start @ 9:30 am.
