HotelTonight is growing its international business and expanding its presence in international markets. As a talented marketer, you’ll develop a comprehensive marketing strategy to grow our international user base and maintain its loyalty and engagement.

You’ll plan, execute and monitor a wide range of results-driven marketing initiatives, both on an international level as well as in individual countries/regions. You’ll focus on building and scaling mobile marketing channels, complemented by development of offline marketing campaigns and strategic partnerships.

This role can be located in our Berlin, Germany or Paris, France office. It reports to the VP of International and collaborates closely with the Marketing team in our San Francisco headquarters.

What you will do

Manage all functions of international marketing including performance marketing, CRM, social media, offline campaigns, and strategic partnerships

Acquire new users for HotelTonight and ensure the loyalty and retention of existing users

Design our international performance marketing strategy and budget spending allocation across the different channels

Build new and foster existing relationships with key marketing partners throughout Europe, as well as actively research high-potential channels to test and incorporate into the broader acquisition plan

Work hand-in-hand with Regional Directors and Country Managers in the international supply team to provide operational support in the execution of local marketing campaigns

Collaborate closely with the US marketing team in San Francisco on the implementation of global campaigns and the development of new marketing channels

Be the face of the international team on everything that is demand generation, working cross functionally with Analytics, Finance, Product and Engineering

What we’re looking for in you

At least 3-5 years of professional experience in a high-growth startup/internet company

Experience in using a range of marketing tools to directly influence and improve core demand generation KPIs

Experience creating and optimizing digital marketing channels, including search (Adwords), social, and traditional ad networks

Strong analytical skills and capabilities to model and understand data and make data-driven decisions

The ability to get things done with constantly changing priorities, projects and deadlines and great organizational skills

A startup mentality with a goal of moving fast and desire to win!

Demonstrate passion and enthusiasm for this role and for what we’re building

Excellent English spoken and written skills (additional languages are a plus)
